ACES Foods at NMSU is a student-run food production company in the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences, in the college of Agricultural, Consumer and Environment Sciences at New Mexico State University. It provides students with hands-on opportunities to apply the principles of food sciences and technology to the production of new food products.
ACES Foods is strictly a wholesale company that supplies retail stores with food products. We can also supply conferences, meetings and events with gelato, sorbet, baked goods and dry mixes.
ACES Foods is a class that acts as an internship available to Food Science and Nutrition students at New Mexico State University. ACES Foods provides students with the knowledge to:
- Apply basic scientific principles, procedures, techniques, and standards in the production of food products.
- Apply principles of sanitation and safety to the production of food products.
- Assist in the development and evaluation of new and/or existing food products made for human consumption.
